Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website at jacksonvilleconcreteworks.com, or by engaging the services of Advanced Jacksonville Concrete Works ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, customers, and others who use our website or request services from us.
Advanced Jacksonville Concrete Works provides concrete contracting services in Jacksonville, Illinois and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to, concrete driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalk building, foundation work, retaining walls, floor installation, pool decks, and related concrete flatwork and structural services.
All services are provided subject to site conditions, material availability, weather, and permitting requirements. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All written estimates provided by Advanced Jacksonville Concrete Works are based on the scope of work described at the time of the estimate and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Estimates are not guarantees of final price.
Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen site conditions are discovered during the project, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.
Verbal estimates or phone quotes are not binding. Only written, signed agreements constitute a commitment to price.
Project scheduling is subject to weather conditions, crew availability, and permitting timelines. We will make reasonable efforts to begin projects on the agreed-upon date, but we are not liable for delays caused by weather, material supply issues, permit processing times, or other conditions outside our control.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or after work has begun may be subject to charges for materials purchased and work completed to that point.
We reserve the right to reschedule projects due to weather or other safety concerns. We will notify you as promptly as possible in such situations.
Payment terms will be specified in the written agreement for each project. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion or as otherwise agreed in writing.
All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accounts that remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment date may be subject to a late fee and may be referred to a collections process. We reserve the right to halt work on any project where payment is overdue.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of project agreement. Personal checks, cashier checks, and other methods may be accepted at our discretion.
You are responsible for ensuring that the project site is reasonably accessible and clear of obstructions before work begins. This includes removing vehicles, personal property, and any items that would interfere with the crew or equipment. Failure to prepare the site as agreed may result in project delays and additional charges.
You are responsible for locating and marking underground utilities prior to any excavation. We will call JULIE (Illinois Underground Utility Notification system) as required by law, but you are responsible for any private utilities not registered with that system.
Any required permits are the customer's responsibility unless we have agreed in writing to obtain them on your behalf as part of the project.
Advanced Jacksonville Concrete Works performs all work using professional standards and quality materials. Concrete is a natural material that is subject to cracking, settling, and surface variations over time, particularly in climates with significant freeze-thaw cycles such as Illinois. Some degree of cracking is normal and expected in concrete flatwork over its lifespan.
We stand behind our workmanship. If you experience a defect that is directly attributable to our installation - rather than to normal concrete behavior, ground movement, tree root intrusion, or other external conditions - please contact us to discuss the issue.
Our website and estimates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Advanced Jacksonville Concrete Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, our services, or any products or materials used in the course of work.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the specific project to which the claim relates.
In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us directly first so we have the opportunity to resolve the issue informally. You can reach us at info@jacksonvilleconcreteworks.com or (217) 271-0278.
If we are unable to resolve the dispute directly, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it through good-faith mediation before pursuing formal legal action. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other emergency relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Illinois.
